AISI Announces Three New Members
February 13, 2025WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) today announced that Ryerson and Zekelman Industries, both based in Chicago, IL, and Olympic Steel, based in Cleveland, OH, have joined AISI as its newest member companies.
Lourenco Goncalves, AISI Board Chairman and Chairman, President and CEO of Cleveland-Cliffs, welcomed the announcement, “These three companies have been strong allies on steel industry policy issues. We look forward to working closely with Ryerson, Zekelman and Olympic Steel to further amplify the voice of our industry in combatting unfair foreign practices and other areas that present ongoing threats to the competitiveness of the American steel industry.”
“The collaboration with these three companies will enhance AISI’s already significant engagement with members of Congress and the administration,” said AISI President and CEO Kevin Dempsey. “We look forward to working together with these industry leaders to continue our strong advocacy on behalf of the domestic steel industry.”
