Shipments were down 2.5 percent from the 7,583,826 net tons shipped in the previous month, January 2026. Shipments year-to-date in 2026 are 14,979,333 net tons, up 3.5 percent vs. 2025 shipments of 14,471,991 net tons for two months.<\/p>\n<p>A comparison of shipments year-to-date in 2026 to the first two months of 2025 shows the following changes: corrosion resistant sheet and strip, up 10 percent, hot rolled sheet and strip, up 9 percent and cold rolled sheet and strip, down 8 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">#####<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact: Lisa Harrison<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>202.452.7115 \/\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lharrison@steel.org\">lharrison@steel.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">AISI serves as the voice of the American steel industry in the public policy arena and advances the case for steel in the marketplace as the preferred material of choice.
