Shipments were up 6.6 percent from the 6,702,557 net tons shipped in the previous month, November 2024. Shipments for the full year 2024 are 86,130,780 net tons, down 3.6% vs. 2023 full year shipments of 89,338,472 net tons.<\/p>\n<p>A comparison of shipments for the full year 2024 to the full year 2023 shows the following changes: cold rolled sheet, up 3 percent, corrosion resistant sheet, unchanged and hot rolled sheet, down 7 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">-####-<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact: Lisa Harrison<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>202.452.7115 \/\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lharrison@steel.org\">lharrison@steel.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>AISI serves as the voice of the American steel industry in the public policy arena and advances the case for steel in the marketplace as the preferred material of choice.
